The various kaiyodo ones have the best articulation but they are a little fiddly and those tiny joints can only supply so much friction.
But if it's just about looks they are by far the best. They have the most reasonable proportions and most of them have fantastic weathering. The oni one probably has my favorite head sculpts of any of the skeletons i own.
I really want to love the Epic Hacks since they are almost exactly what i want, but they went and made optional hands into a thing for only certain sets, and most the sets have different coloring so mixing and matching isn't an option. and I am currently having an issue where over time, the thighs for the figures start to warp outwards under the figure's own weight. Kind of a deal breaker of an issue if you ask me.
That leaves me with the Storm Collectibles skeletons. They lack some key joints like a lower neck joint, which can be a bit limiting. But these guys are very sturdy and easy to pick up and pose, and have just enough weight and stability to them where they can hold weapons from other lines and even wear armor and accessories from other lines and still stay standing. I think they are my favorite, specially when it comes to value. Don't know what they got for now, but I believe I got two separate two packs for 50 bucks each. For 25 dollars each those things are amazing. Also, the transparent colors they made look fantastic. I believe those are harder to get now but the blue ones look great.
Pose skeletons are dinky little things but they are cute and fill a specific niche. But one appeal was how cheap they were. Not sure they still are with the line dead.
