I think around 2022ish onwards they've been doing better with effects. Most of the ones that didn't have something were either $35 releases or didn't make much sense to have it like Pan, Broly, Porunga. Lot of people were probably checking the box for more effects on those surveys, we finally got the first stand alone effect set for db.
