>>6834152Well, to their defense, not all sequel fans have necessarily anything "very wrong" with them, it's just ignorance really and maybe an age gap in some cases. I talked to a sequel fan and he was like 17 (for reference I'm 22 and despise disney) and he said he hadn't seen the original movies in ages, but he did suggest that maybe the original trilogy could be remade with modern technology or something? I tried not to be condesending, but kind of laughed at the absurdity of his suggestion. The next time I saw him and Star Wars came into discussion, he told me he was retarded to even suggest remaking the OT and he said that he had no idea what he was thinking and we kind of laughed it off. However, he still doesn't really understand why I don't even want to pirate TLJ or Rogue One even though I like Star Wars. I later explained to him how they're not the same thing at all. I even gave him some Tales of the Jedi comics on a usb stick (and I think the kotor comics as well) since he told me he was playing The Old Republic--I figured he might be interested in the origins of that whole era. Next week he told me the comics were pretty good, although maybe a bit confusing at times. I explained to him what the EU is and how the Old Republic is actually one of the last EU stories out there. It's been pretty fun indoctrinating him. I also redpilled him on the prequels and told him how they're masterpieces. He actually had a fairly neutral view on everything. Didn't really differentiate between the OT, the prequels etc. Wasn't really biased toward anything specific. On an unrelated note I think he has also begun to lurk /pol/ now. I think I've ruined his life.
