>>9712420The chinese have been banging out CoD KOs for a few years now, their first offerings were just figs and they were decent enough, has progressed to near-straight copies of sets and this is the third I've bought to date, the other two being a shipping crate set and a jeep set.
In terms of parts quality this one has been pretty good, about the level I've come to expect. There was a piece missing, a 2x4 light grey grille that goes on the floor of the interior of the vehicle, not a huge loss for me though I'm sure others will be less forgiving. Missing piece aside it was a pretty typical Mega-esque experience, including having to look closely at the colors of the parts needed for each step (had to go back and switch out pieces a couple times due to color mixups). The set came in numbered bags which helped.
The set also comes with a little terrain build, a chain link fence thing with barbed wire. Can't remember seeing it in the listing pics, it was there but not remarkable in itself and in the end that's a fitting word for it, heh. I found it neat that the base is a build, roughly recreating two of the odd-shaped little baseplates that often feature in Mega sets. What wasn't so neat is the coil of barged wire is made of a more rigid plastic: it is impossible to make the build as depicted due to the coils pulling one or the other of the fenceposts up. I have other coils from previous sets that are of softer wire and can get this to work if I wanted.
Not much to say about the figures, other than you have to fully assemble them which can be finnicky and painful to the fingertips. The weapons provided in the set differed slightly from the artwork and instructions but this is typical for Chinese KOs.
Tl;dr I enjoyed it, quality was generally good, price was good, would recommend.
