Got my Iron Fist in today. He’s really great despite the costume’s stitching being so obvious. Highly poseable, all the hands are nice, the flame effects are really nice, and the weapon is fun.
Some weird things:
The unmasked face is fairly asymmetrical, which is fine at a 1:1 scale, but at a 1:12 scale where you can see the whole thing, it looks like a mold error. The nose is crooked, and the left side of the head seems to jut out 1mm further forward than the right. Minor gripe, but just kind of hard to un-see.
Mezco partnered with a company called “Regal Logistics” to ship the one I got. I don’t know if this is standard, but it’s slightly annoying because I ordered directly from Mezco and I expected to get a) bubble wrap and b) a micro-Mez-itz. I don’t usually use the micro-Mez-itz, but they are a direct barrier to entry for anyone who wants to participate in their #mezcomondays social media campaigns. Orders processed directly by Mezco have historically included this item (and bubble wrap) so the fact their fulfillment partner seems to not include them is a little disconcerting.
