r2beepboop update: because i painted a bandai kit and i'm assembling after, i need to remove some of the excess paint to make the pieces fit (i should have masked more everything is too snug). i put what i had together to look at it so far but a lot of the pieces arent pushed in all the way.
i need to touch up some of the white panels because scraping the sides to make them fit wasnt supposed to show up. i need to find or scratchbuild 2 tiny grill pieces that look like jail bars i lost in a freak accident in my dirty room.
dreading doing the dome
i have this modelmaster aluminum buffing metalizer i'm going to use for the dome that im experimenting with. i'm trying to figure out how long to leave it on before buffing it off. i think the fact im testing it painting with a qtip instead of the airbrush is mattering
getting the blue w/hint of purp right was a real motherfucker, i used the "krider method" but with tamiya instead of rustoleum. all the other blue pieces are done but not in pic
i always notice mistakes in pictures i dont see with my eye. like hairs in the paint, etc. i saw a few in this pic. i'm going to stop being so lazy and document builds for that reason alone.
oh and i need to get rid of the seam on the body after i put the 2 halves together. i got rid of the dome seam
>>9670016i'm a huge sicko but i behave when i'm here.
