I rushed the process a bit and the gloss didn't fully dry, resulting in a slightly rough surface when buffing in the powder. I'm not sure what was causing the yellow-brown hues in the finish but I did notice that you get a lighter overall color if the clear layer is a little thicker. Also, the silver did lighten up the overall effect just a little bit. They appear to have the same level of reflection.
