If you wind up going for used Bionicles, it's usually cheaper to buy the parts off Bricklink and building them yourself. If you feel like gambling, some people strike gold on random part lots online or at thrift stores/flea markets. Especially in the EU, since some misprinted parts only made it into circulation there. Have a checklist for all the masks you might find.

The misprinted Kaukaus, clear and orange kaukaus, toa colored turaga masks, copper Komau, chrome finish Hau, the infected Haus, both Vahi, the silver nuva masks (excluding Miru), trans-orange stage 1 Kraata, basically every version of the Kraahkan (especially the 5 hole and pearl gold variants), pearl gold Ignika, and the pearl gold Visorak shell from that one playset are some that I can remember
