The reason the threads have gone to shit has more to do with stupidly binary modern politics and culture wars than the actual films or toys.
Anybody who gets even the slightest amount of enjoyment from Mouse-Wars gets called an SJW, and anyone who says anything critical about them gets called Alt-Right.
