>>9711565The limit doesn't make sense though, because MS has been releasing ML-amount of articulation for more than a while now.
Is Disney afraid Diamond would make a super duper articulated action figure, putting everyone else in the stone age?
BTW, if you ever look at the Hasbro license with Marvel, it spells out the types of toys they're allowed to make and even where they can be sold (not just countries, but also store types). Doesn't mention scale anywhere. Why would Diamond's be so specific, when in the 00s and 10s, there was almost no one else making Marvel toys? They wouldn't have been stepping on anyone's toes.
In fact, specifically says what toys they're not allowed to make and even brings up Diamond. Diamond is mentioned as just (adult) collectibles.
What you guys believe is true is only based on what you see, ignoring that trends actually dictate the form of the toys. IT'd be like believing Figmas are only licensed to make cartoony styled figures, not understanding that that style only exists because of the sculptors they use. ... or i'll just repeat myself: It'd be like believing Diamond are only licensed to make Mcstatues, not understanding the limited articulation and pre-posed sculpt was that way because that's what collectors expected in the 00s.
