>>8250743When I discovered the online Lego community I was amazed how much the late 90s stuff was hated. A lot of people dislike the very sparse builds apparently I was always really fond of them, I can see how they'd be considered simple but they managed to do a lot with broad shapes and ideas. The worlds felt a lot bigger than the sets themselves. The theme sets really looked unique among other franchises with similar themes. Now with the more complex builds, they look better, but less unique.
