All the Mecha's have been way more expensive than similarly sized figures because of their diecast parts. GvK MechaG is 7.5 inches tall meaning he towers above all the previous Mechas from with .5 inches being the smallest gap between him and the Chogokin mix and 2 inches between him and Showa MechaG. Plus he has a considerably longer tail, which will probably have diecast joints. I do agree he's overpriced, but I still think he'd be reasonably priced at $135 like MFS-3 type-3 Kiryu despite coming with nowhere near as many accessories.
