Was pretty sick and convinced me that the reason comics suck now is because they're afraid to break convention in fun ways instead of just race/gender-swapping. All you had to do to make Marvel heroes fresh and interesting was to hand them to indie creators and tell them to go fucking nuts. Stokoe's Surfer short in there was almost as good as Moebius' from decades ago.
Shame we're getting What If toys that are literally just "what if this guy was this guy" instead of Strange Tales figures. Tons of really cool shit you could pull from these. Would kill for a Ben Grimm with Harvey Pekar two pack.
