I'm not all that experienced in the gunplas but there's a mech I am trying to find a kit for and I am a bit confused with it all. What it is, is the ironfoot from dougram and when I check online the kits that I'm seeing fall into 2 categories usually.
First are kits on the cheaper end, 50-70 bucks, and when I look at them the boxes seem beat up like the pic and they have a cylindrical missile rack over the left shoulder. The second ones are a lot more expensive and have a rectangular missile rack.
Now, I would prefer to not drop a hundred dollars on a single model, but the pictures of the cheaper kits make me think they're pretty old, and something about opening up an old probably out of production kit makes me hesitant to go for any of them. Of course, I checked a couple of other sites and they seem to say that those kits are discontinued or at least not carried by the shops I checked so that isn't helping either.
So what is the deal with all of these things?
