To be honest the bottom series is my favourite of the two, love the subtle height and colour variations. I'm not loving the rim lights personally but you're the artist and I'm some anon so that's your call (and dependant on the backgrounds they end up in.)

They did small variations on the belt straps that formed the first letter of each turtle's name (donnie's metal buckle being the most obvious). Always thought it was a great subtle touch myself, compared to the custom belt buckles the original toys had.
