>>11224534It got delivered to me from amazon today, alongside the jetpack troopers; was not expecting to spend this much money now instead of in December, but I'll live. The hallway's mostly pretty great, it looks good but the modularity is a bit less than perfect. I'm lampshading it extra hard in the picture, the doors are built to be put next to each other on corners, there's a big slot in the doorframe piece so the other door can open through it, but you can't have both doors open at once, because one door opening occupies the space the other door needs to open. Not really a fixable problem, but it would help if the door was at least removable from the frame, which as far as I can tell it isn't. Other than that, I wish each set came with at least one more column piece than it does, it ends up limiting what you can do with multiples. If you did the 'normal' thing and just got one or two though, it's completely fine. The reflectiveness of the floor is also a bit excessive, I appreciate the effort for accuracy but you basically can't touch it without putting fingerprints/smudges on it that are a pain to fully clear off. Still, nitpicks aside it's cool, there's ways it could be better but I'm glad we got it and I might be tempted to get a couple more later, partly to have more hallway but also to have more of the packed-in mando, which I like a lot although the knees really don't bend as far as they should.
The jetpack troopers are super perfect though, love these guys, nothing bad to say here. I'm sure people will be unhappy about the hips not changing, but I do not personally care at all when these achieve the same range of motion, they just take a bit more time to pose. New tooling budget would be better put basically anywhere else, in my opinion, but obviously a lot of other people disagree so it'll probably happen at some point.
