It's cheaper than buying new these days. I got picrel sets on FB Marketplace for less than the price of Rivendell. I'm content with never buying a new set again given that prices are going up, plastic quality is going down, and wokeshit is through the roof.
For parts, I buy bulk lots. If you keep an eye out you can often snag ones that have great vintage stuff in them as well.
