If I at least have full control of applying the stickers, then I can ensure they're only the stickers I want and are well applied.
Hell, add a few battle damage stickers to the sheet and it could have been the whole gimmick and a throw back to the G1 toys. And you wouldn't have to hire anyone to put them on. Just have a robot drop a sheet into each box like the instructions.
