Need some opinions on an idea l have for a new layout. I want to have a rotary dumper at one end that dumps into some kind of industrial building, possibly a steel mill, and also have a mine with an above car coal tower to load hoppers, and under the layout l want to figure out some way to automatically move the coal from the rotary dumper back to the coal tower without being seen. I was thinking making a duct with a bucketed conveyorbelt that runs in a constant cycle to move the coal back. For coal l can just use black fishtank gravel, and if this works, l could have a second belt for brown gravel to reprisent iron ore. I think I'm going to use a variation of pic related as the base with the top and bottom haviving turn offs to go into the loading and dumping stations on opposite sides of the layout.
