>>9556065It is absolutely no substitute for a real V-pet. And indeed, at a certain point in the day you're just not going to interact with the VB at all. You do your exercises, do the app stuff if you want, and turn it to battle mode... but it's got more in common with those LCD toy digivice games than v-pets.
But I still think they're cool devices in their own right.
And because they're so low maintenance, I feel like I can run a real v-pet alongside the vital bracelet without it feeling like i'm taking on too much. Also it's nice to have something that incentivizes me to get up and move around. I actually feel weird when I'm going for an evolution that requires me to get less trophies so i've been doing my exercises without activating the vital brace.
I get one if it looks interesting to you. Just don't get it as a substitution for a v-pet, and maybe think about picking up a real v-pet to run along side it.
I do think it's pretty shitty though that this is very likely the future of Digimon v-pets for a few years though... I think it's gonna be at least five years before we get a non VB v-pet and that makes me sad.
