A couple weeks ago I came in here complaining about how statueshit looks nice, and it's cool that it's affordable now, but every pose looks like they're punching or flying at an opponent who's not there.
Today I went into Boxlunch and it was literally all they had. 13 statues pictured here and maybe 3-4 (i guess some are subjective) could be argued to just be leaping at or getting ready to attack some invisible opponent.
There are plenty of potential solo poses you can pull off with Dragon ball characters, I don't know why it's so hard for the people that sculpt these to be even a little creative in their ideas. I wouldn't mind paying $25-30 for a decent statue of a character I liked, it just feels like there's no creativity there, though. I'd rather pay the same amount for a Dragon Stars figure from Gamestop, it looks worse but at least there's more to do with it.
