There are several "Waves" of them, and they have generally gotten more complex and interesting as they go on. Many people seem them as a sort of spiritual successor to microman, albeit obviously far larger (and a hell of a lot sturdier). All of them use the "Revoltech" joint, ie a ratchet joint of varying sizes which connects via two pegs. Every single assemble borg uses this joint so every one, from the very first to the very last, is completely modular with every other one. And with any other figure that uses that joint; meaning a large part of revoltech's library of figures.
The first wave is the most simple, they're the ones in the picture here. They're normal humans with a unique head, and some unique accessories to switch out for limbs.
