>>7539181That pissed me off to no end - especially when they retconned him into a wyvern in those scenes in all later rereleases of the first movie (I still own the non-edited original release). They didn't make him a wyvern because it was a less common design - they did it because they believed it was a more 'realistic' design, despite the fact that he's a fictional fantasy monster that's not supposed to be based in realism to begin with. Seriously, how do you deliberately mess with the design of arguably the most iconic character from that book/movie, especially when the original author ACTUALLY DREW THE CHARACTER for the original release of his book (pic related)?
