Here is a tip for posing that no one ever taught me; If you think you have a great pose, but you aren’t sure, rotate the figure 360 degrees and you will probably find something wrong with the pose from a different angle. Sometimes when you get a decent pose you’ll actually refuse to look at it from other angles and then be confused when the pose dosent translate to the camera. The other big thing (previously mentioned in the thread) is camera angles. Use more creative angles and move your camera into more uncomfortable positions
