>>8583418I have mixed feelings on the movie aesthetics. In an odd sort-of way, they make Bionicle 1-3 look less childish from a visual standpoint than something like The Legend Reborn. The characters also feel more organic rather than like literal toys. But that's where the mixed feelings come in, because... they are literally based off of toys. But the movies (to me) represented the story of the year, and the comics (and promotional material) represented the actual figures.
