Like not something subtle that was missed, but really really weak obvious join problems.
That wouldn't be just MoMo's it would be on all their other figures they did also. And that's where the "OE Quality" comes from. They would do so good and then something obvious would slip through.
At least that's been my experience with their products while they where around. Others might have had other issues.
At the time all he and I knew was they where changing from OE to Coreplay (I even got their Zeus figure, and the 'Light skin' and 'dark skin' base girls). After that not much, and that he said he'll be working with Milestone. I found out after that OE seems to have gone under and apparently Coreplay as well. :/

As for the Recolors. That really seems to be a Japanese thing, and a Cheep way for OE to keep "milking that Cow" so to speak.
I'm mixed on "Player 2" type recolors. But yes some of them look great.
As for the more Monster MoMo's I personally think they are "Corrupted" and captured prototype MoMo's but that's still up to Shimamoto-san if he likes that idea. . .
