The sculpt on Figma Deadpool is so...sedate. It feels safe and boring. Like a Deadpool that should be inside under a blanket drinking warm tea. Say what you will about the Revo, but it at least looks dynamic and exciting.

Truthfully, older Revos can be a bit of a bitch to pose. The main culprits are:
>Relatively few ratchets per joint
>Infuriating vertically mounted hips that don't allow simultaneous x and y movement, forcing you to manually rotate the joint to move on the other axis
>Flimsy double joints that tend to bow in the middle
They've fixed these for the most part in modern releases. Most figures don't use double jointed knees anymore so they don't wobble and sag while posing. Wherever possible they have switched to horizontally mounted hip joints (pointing towards the butt) so you can get simultaneous hip action, and on the VERY newest ones we're seeing true ball hips which work great. And of course, about a year or two ago, they retooled the joints themselves to have far more ratcheting points so fine-tuning poses is easier. You used to get maybe 3 clicks out of the big ones, you get 7 now. Same for medium ones, you used to get about 5-7, now you get 12. That's talking about when embedded in an average arm or leg, I tested this just now on Raiden.

tl;dr: Revos had a pretty rough start and for a long time refused to fix a lot of their issues. But they are finally making some real improvements in the line, and their newer figures are for the most part pretty great when it comes to articulation.

I would definitely give them another shot. Revoltech is looking like one of the hottest up-and-comers this year. Their recent figures have been amazing. Plus, their paintjobs have improved a lot since the old days, they have improved their joints (both in the number of ratcheting points AND in how they are placed in the body), and they have all-new stands that are more like Figma stands. Basically, all your complaints have been dealt with.

I should also mention that this is coming from a guy who hated Revoltechs for the same reasons as you. They made me a believer again.

This is what pissed me off the most about these. They didn't do anything creative regarding the engineering of the figure, they just slapped ball-hinged wrists on a ML and called it a day. They should've taken a lot more inspiration from import stuff.
