I should clarify I personally support actual trans people, but the people you see here are another deal. They are autogynephiles (AGPs), who get off thinking they're girls and "lesbians", like Aanchir decided to call himself. Or Chrischan, the Wachowkis, etc.
Not a huge surprise since autism and AGP seem to be strictly linked (it's long to explain). And fanbases like Bionicle tend to lure in a lot of autistic people.
Add everything together, including the stuff anons above me pointed out, mix it up and you'll see why fanbases are in such a state these days.
