From the new interview:
>The guy in charge of the line is really into Joes and says he wants the figures to be bright and interesting, because they look more exciting and fun on the pegs, and said the original 1982 Joes were boring visually, because they were all dressed in the same green outfits, which while practical just isn't fun, and mentions how the line got brighter or more interesting, and then he mentions Ice Cream Soldier from the 90's, and says he grew up with the late 80's and 90's Joes. He wants to get animal partners in the line, particularly Timber and Polly with Shipwreck, because they're important to the characters and fun to have. He says if they do animals-- it's going to be articulated--a Classified animal, not just a statue that doesn't pose.
>He's been researching and marketing the line since 2017, trying to re-invent Joe and showing kids the designs and letting them pick out which ones they liked, which took 3 years.
>He also mentioned vehicles once again, suggesting again, that they're going to be in the Classified line.
>Discussing the bios on the Joe Website, he talks about it like it's a possible road map, but says how there's characters not on there that fans may want, and if there's a demand for those characters, they could pivot and bump out another character in favor of the fan demanded character.
