They’re meant to levitate an inch or two off a flat, circular neck base via electromagnetism. On the “head ring” goes a robot’s particular visor (that’s the word I’m going with instead of masks). The Stonehenge-looking arch is meant to be a “prototype” head base built into the torso itself.
