They opened almost 10,000 stores in the US without Hasbro's main distirbutors and got on fine selling GI Joes and small TFs for $14 in 2010. If anything, Hasbro should be paying Walgreens to carry their stuff in their near 10,000 stores (walmart and Target have HALF that put together in the US).
But they're not, because exclusives aren't paid for with money. They're created with agreements to order a certain amount of cases per year/quarter/month or maybe just for the exclusive itself.
You're not going to find any proof for this, unless you're one of the execs or lawyers for either of these companies. Like i said up here
