Master Sebrian sucks, but you could keep the old man look and make him a martial arts master with spring-loaded arm or kick gimmick. Or younger like Darius, but not "white man with brown beard in red and bronze with a blue cape."
And of course at least Mara and Tuskador stay for the line of basic-size good guys.
