Alright so when I was younger me and some other kids had these balls that were made out of some stretchy rubber material, pretty sure they had balls all over or long rubber bits.
But anyway the gimmick was this long line of rubber and a loop at the end attached to it, so you could pretty much yoyo with it and throw it out like spiderman and it would come back to you.
But I remember it going around that apparently some kid choked himself to death with it by wrapping it around his own neck.
I don't know if that was true or not but after a bit I never saw one again and mine randomly disappeared (I assume my parents hid it somewhere or threw it out).
It was a really fun toy, shame if the rumor was true.
