These dark times will pass. I started collecting with the '95 PotF line, so I'm luckier than most collectors in that there's at the very least ALWAYS been Star Wars on shelves somewhere pretty much non-stop since then.
If there's years (or even decades) where most of the content and collectibles produced is meh... well, we were still more favored than most franchises. Imagine being a TMNT collector back in its heydey and then looking at shelves now.
