You had to have been INCREDIBLY biased to believe your nonsense, because you had to literally ignore a hundred threads every week to believe there was more import talk back then than there was western threads.
Shit, for the first couple of months, /toy/ was basically nothing but nostalgia. So that's like half of 2008 being nothing but shitty 80s and 90s toys talk, and 99% of that was western toys. Nevermind play time threads of floor is lava, etc.
Seriously, how the fuck could you ignore the multiple threads about GI Joe, Iron Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Iron Man, Iron Man, and other MArvel threads that existed before Generals were created?
Transfags were thought of as a HUGE problem, because the 0 and 1 pages of /toy/ were almost nothing but talk about TFs. Almost every single figure got its own thread, which slowly started gaining the General movement. First Bayformer discussion started getting all lumped together and then TFA, and then slowly it all got lumped together as just being TF General.
I'm not even a TF fan, but it was hard as fuck not to notice how crowded out all discussion was because of these threads and how they eventually cleared the board up when the Generals started being a thing.
