I got that modded sooah head in the mail today! already started working on it. It has yellowed, but very minimally, I'm amazed, seeing how the head is almost 10 years old. It looks more yellow than it actually is in my pics because of my very yellow desk lamp. With a little blushing, I think i could definitely make it match a fairyland body if it was a couple years old, so I'm extremely happy about that.
The tear ducts are proving to be a bitch to sand out, but already I think they look much better than they did. Same for the outer corners of the eyes, the original modder left them with sharp unnatural edges, so I softened them and now I don't think I'll even need to use apoxy. I even like the eye shape and don't think I'll open them wider. I wanted a very asian look anyway.
For any of you with modding experience, I think I'd have an easier time with sanding if I had a sanding sponge. Are they really like a sponge and can be squished into small spaces? I keep sanding spots that I don't want to when I try using folded sanding paper. It's a bitch. I'd also like to do a light overall sanding to lighten the color a bit too. If anyone has suggestions please let me know, thanks!
