I received a First Order Stormtrooper blaster for Christmas. Hadn't had anything Nerf since high school, so I was very impressed with how cool and fun it was. Got me really interested in Nerf again, and I started looking into what was available.
Had a bunch of Kmart store rewards and coupons that were expiring this weekend (been like a year since I shopped there), so I ended up using them to grab a Hammershot, Slingfire, and a pack of 30 darts for $25. Not the best deal I'm sure (
>>6168126 $3 for all that!!), but I'm really happy with what I got. These guns are so much fun to play with, not to mention being way more powerful than the Stormtrooper blaster.
I'm particularly impressed with the Hammershot! I know Elite darts are pretty inaccurate (bought the dart pack to reach a dollar amount needed to apply a coupon), but the Hammershot is pretty darn consistent with its groupings. And of course the whole cylinder and hammer mechanism is just so cool (though spinning the Slingfire around my finger to work the lever is too fun, haha).
Kmart just sent me another $10 off $20 coupon, and I'm thinking of using it to pick up a Sledgefire, which would put it at about $15 after the coupon.
