I think Ranges of the New Republic's cancellation really fucked with the timeline of what they were originally planning on doing. I am betting they basically patched up the plot points as best they could for the first few episodes and that's why a few of them feel so uneven. That might explain the delay for the show and why things are a bit wonky in parts. It's just my educated guess, or it could be something else. What really scares me if this crap is true
