I mean, Iruini and Norik alone are pretty different from eachother. Yet some people imitate those two and build the other ones with either silver or bronze-gold armor. You can pull off an uniformed look without it being so boring.
Granted though, the rules don't help. Not only isn't Pouks allowed to use the canon Mask of Emulation design, but another rule states that the thigh and shoulder armor parts have to be metallic. But.. who ever said that? I thought "metallic armor, shield and spear" were the sole requirements. Nowhere has it been specified the exact distribution of their metallic armor. So pic related, or a Kualus with a white chest, wouldn't be allowed?
I never tried to defend TTV, they always came across as haughty to me, but the rules decided for the Helryx and Artakha contests weren't this fucking obtuse and arbitrary.
