>>8401341I honestly always liked Whis. I feel like he's one of those figures that just never really gets talked about, and when he does, he's just sort of relegated to "well, he's not much more than an accessory for Beerus." But I think he (and Beerus) look great, and have a lot of personality, and come with some decent stuff.
Its just that they were designed at the ass-end of the 1.0 era, so while the look, detail, and paint look pretty nice on them, the articulation and engineering kind of suffer. Had they come out a few years later, they might have been able to work Whis' outfit a bit more to give him some more articulation, since they've done some weird designed figures that should have fallen flat, but somehow worked.
Realistically, they probably need to remake all the BoG and RoF figures, since they're all 6+ years old, and from a by-gone era.
That said, I would honestly probably call SSG Goku one of the most most overprice in relation to what it is. Everything about him was weird. First off, its the only Goku from the 2.0 era that is a P-Bandai release, which doesn't even make sense. Second, its a basic-bitch release with almost no accessories. He comes with about as little stuff as SRoE, SSB, and KK Goku, but cost almost twice as much. I guess the argument could be that he was the first on the 2.0 Goku body, but he came out right around SS3 Goku, and you got a pretty beefy, unique head with him, as opposed to SSG's recolor base head. SSG Goku is probably the most expensive 2.0 figure, too.
