This was a one shot deal, they replaced the classic red spaceman with the pink one and I for one feel this was a mistake and a missed opportunity.

I've had missing parts in an order less than 10-15 times and only once was the order completely lost. In that case I got a refund.
Bricklink overall has a lot of good sellers and I've been very pleased with my experience there. I do not know what the future will bring as LEGO takes over, but so far, the ride has been good.
