Did some of the stripes again and re touched the two color fading, now I have to wait for it to dry as glazing medium makes paint take forever to sit and dry but makes doing translucent layers blend better. Some touch ups left but the base color is done.

Imo looks too crusty for something in use, but for a base or an abandoned thing is okay. Add some other rust tones with a sponge and it will look nicer and less like pulled from the bottom of the sea
>>6546687I don't know man, either go with it and then cover it with satin or something after the decals and see how it ends or grab some sanding sponges and go to town, but you'll probably damage the paint job that way so I'm not sure
