When I think of most starscream designs my mind goes to cockpit in the chest and shit on either side of his head and the wings making up a decent chunk of the silhouette..
That holds true for G1, Armada, Cybertron, War for Cybertron...

Megatron's only consistent iconic feature is a giant ass gun.

>>6482551I think accuracy has its place. The Beast Wars MP figures, as an example, look like the 3D Models brought to life and it makes the toys feel that much better.
What I am against is people deciding a toy is objectively trash because it didn't adhere 100% to a particular design or model, especially based on details that are up to personal preference.
This is like the fucking Devastator wars all over again, tons of bitching on either side with nobody coming out any wiser.
Just because you think something looks worse doesn't mean everyone does. I am willing to bet that most people don't fucking care that the vents on the side of his head aren't picked out in immaculate detail. I'm sure there are people out there upset that PE's Optimal Optimus changed the design from the show and think the new look is worse, but they don't fill threads with their gripes.
It's all just personal taste.
I'm dropping the topic now in the hope that this thread can be salvaged from this farce.
