I asked for tips a few days ago and ended up ordering the A-10 and F-18 kits I wanted, along with a full set of tools and paints. I'll spend the days until they arrive watching brush painting tutorials. But now I'm here to atone for the sins I have committed to poor plastic models 20 years ago as a kid. I dug these out from the corner of my room, they are broken and missing parts here and there. Kids, don't paint with unthinned oil enamels in a single layer. Back then no one told me how to do it and we didn't have the internet with all the information available and the smallest brush I had was probably a size 3-5.
Here an attempt at camo painting was made. Canopy butchered, had no idea masking tape existed. Serious question, how do you avoid glue from clouding the transparent plastic? Pretty sure I only glued the edges.
