6" wasn't even a standard until recently. In the 80s and most of the 90s, they didn't even have 1:12, they were 5" figures, which is what... 1:15 scale?
The ONLY long running scale is 1:18 and has been done for almost literally every property.
Nevermind that 1:12 scale is only popular in the west, whereas almost everything from the east is non-scale and almost always undersized compared to 1:12.
