The Minicons, combined modes/hyper modes, energon weapons, and cyber keys of the Unicron Trilogy all were part of the fiction so, the play patterns kind of expect you to care which you probably would have if you were a child collecting them. I can understand that point I guess, but outside of Minicons I don't dislike any of them as gimmicks......and for what it's worth, I just think Armada largely sucked as a whole regardless, Minicon figures themselves were pretty cool imo for little micro guys, I had more fun with them than I did the main figures.
