>>9461732>The hate of it wasn't right after it it came way laterI honestly don't think Final Wars was truly bashing Godzilla 98. I think it's just having fun, like with all of the other fights. It's also not above making fun of itself. I haven't seen Godzilla 98 in many years (I lovef it as a kid), but as I got older I could really see how "silly" it was and not for me. I am not knocking the film, but I think when you are dealing with a fan base like Godzilla (same with Star Wars), people can become very polarized on films
