Unfortunately lots of DBZ figures have problems with the clothes, in this case it's the obnoxious attempt at texture, but most of them look awful because of the lazy way they try to sculpt Toriyama's clothing folds and the overly-saturated glossy colors they use.
I can't bring myself to order Piccolo because the purple looks like someone just used a default color picker in PS or some shit and dumped an ugly pile of shiny garbage onto the figure and called it a day.
