I kind of miss those days, before the Revo/Figma joint became the basic template around which basically all joints are designed. Yeah, things weren't as good and stable as they are now, but it felt exciting...lawless. People were still feeling around in the dark to figure out what worked and what didn't, and unorthodox articulation schemes were everywhere.
