Given the recent inflation & all the other shit going on in the toy biz, that’s a reasonable price hike from the initial $20 price-tag the OG Monster High dolls went for. There’s some minor cut corners on the quality to keep the price that low, but nothing that’s a deal breaker. We’ll talk about those cost cutting measures as they crop up in the review.
So here’s what you get with Toralei. There’s Sweet Fang, her pet saber-tooth tiger cub. An iCoffin phone, a can of tuna, a carton of milk, an extra shirt, one-strap backpack, and a microphone stand. It’s a good amount of stuff, but there’s a noticeable lack of a doll stand and brush accessories that came standard with the OG dolls.
